Become a Member

If you, or your organization are involved with or concerned about the personal financial capability of youth and adults, we invite you to partner with us.
Officially organized in 2003, we are a statewide, non-profit association representing more than 50 partners from business, government, federal and state agencies, regulatory authorities, academic institutions, non-profits, and faith-based organizations.

We are a proud state affiliate of the National Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, based in Washington, D.C. and convened since 1995.

Our Mission Statement: Louisiana Jump$tart is a coalition of organizations dedicated to improving the financial capability of individuals by providing advocacy and access to financial education programs and resources.

  • To participate in financial literacy events organized and hosted by Louisiana Jump$tart

Resources

  • Access to valuable resources providing insight into problems, solutions and new developments in financial literacy through scheduled partner meetings, website and electronic newsletter.
  • Receive annually “Making the Case for Financial Literacy”, a composite of national survey data.

Continuing Education

  • Participate in conferences, training sessions, and receive publications dedicated to promoting financial literacy.

Outreach

  • Partner with other organizations to enhance your outreach
  • Submit your appropriate financial education-related events to our calendar
  • Submit appropriate news and articles to our website that are related to financial education
  • Be part of a statewide Speakers Bureau allowing expansion of your community outreach

2022 Membership Levels

Membership dues are paid annually and are based on a calendar year. New members joining in the 4th quarter will not be billed the following year.

Platinum Partner – $5,000 +

Gold Partner – $2,500 +

  • Recognized as a Sponsor of Jump$tart events
